Informed Voting Matters!

As family child care providers, our schedules are most likely already overbooked, but that doesn’t mean we can leave it up to others to make informed decisions that impact our profession and our private businesses. We each need to find a way to stay informed on where our elected officials on the federal, state and local level stand on early childhood education.
Today there are more and more avenues to get your information, take advantage of what works for you. Remember every vote matters!
The 2018 Maine gubernatorial election will take place on November 6, 2018. It will occur along with elections for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, state senators and representatives and local elections.
Here’s meet the candidate information from the Portland Press Herald originally posted in May ’18, updated 9/13/18.
