Additional Scholarship for 30th Annual NAFCC Conference

The 2020 Annual NAFCC Family Child Care Conference this year is going to be virtual. You can enjoy the conference from the comfort of your own home on the evening of Friday, July 17, and all-day Saturday, July 18. The conference celebrates the unique and amazing field of family child care. Being virtual provides a unique opportunity for providers that would not normally be able to attend this national conference to do just that.

Through a recent donation, FCCAM is able to offer another $100 scholarship to help a FCCAM member attend their first NAFCC Annual conference!!!

The DEADLINE to submit the FCCAM scholarship application form for this scholarship is Wednesday, July 1st. The winner will be chosen by lottery and receive notification from FCCAM by Monday, July 6th.

You do not have to be a member of NAFCC to attend the conference, or submit the application for a chance to win this scholarship. You do need to be a member of FCCAM to apply for the scholarship.

FCCAM works to unify, promote and strengthen quality professional family child care in Maine. We are the state affiliate of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). We are the only professional association in Maine dedicated specifically to supporting family child care providers. FCCAM understands the critical role of family child care providers in the lives of children and families. We also understand the hard work and long hours that are required to provide the much needed child care services in Maine’s diverse communities. FCCAM provides opportunities to network both locally and statewide with other family child care professionals for training and support. Through collaboration with other organizations we are engaged with advocating for children and their families in Maine, increasing awareness of our professionalism and value to our communities.
