PYDI is an annual professional development conference that enable adults who work with youth of all ages to expand their understanding of the methods, theory, and data-informed practices that support effective engagement, positive climate and overall youth development.
For the PYDI 2021 virtual conference, participants may attend the conference live, and/or up to two weeks after on their own time. So SAVE the DATE!
Participants will expand their knowledge of the Science of Learning and Development (SoLD) and integrate it as a defining measure of whole child personalization of learning and how to support Safe, Stable, Happy and Healthy youth.
The Maine Statewide ECE Conference will return in 2021!
Planning has begun on the 2021 conference thinking positively that we will be in person, in Bangor, in October.
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Maine Department of Education, Head Start Directors, Educare Central Maine, Family Child Care Association of Maine, Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network, and Maine Association for the Education of Young Children are committed to our collaboration around this second statewide conference for early childhood educators, leaders, and partners in our state.
iLookOut for Child Abuse Training ~ approved mandated reporter training for Maine providers
iLookOutfor Child Abuse (iLookOut) program would like to invite you, your staff, & volunteers to complete the iLookOut online learning program. iLookOut is an online learning program that provides up to 13 hours of professional development credit. iLookOut is also a research study designed to help learn how to best train child care providers to protect children.
