Maine providers have the opportunity to connect with their peers through Monthly Communities of Practice (CoP) facilitated by Maine Roads to Quality (MRTQ PDN). The communities are offered as both face-to-face and online. If there isn’t a community that meets your needs, please reach out to FCCAM’s Professional Learning Committee at: fccam.professionallearning@gmail.com or contact MRTQ.
What is a Community of Practice?
A community of practice (CoP) is a network of people who share a common interest in a specific area of knowledge or competence and are willing to work and learn together over a period of time to develop and share that knowledge. The content of the discussion is driven by the participants, with support from a facilitator.
All Communities of Practices are FREE and provide professional development hours accepted by Maine licensing.
